The short version
Social media management is the ongoing work of planning, designing, publishing and measuring a business's content on one or more social platforms. Social media management in Las Vegas typically costs between $500 and $3,000 a month depending on scope. At Social by Taniya it costs $700 a month for one platform, covering editorial planning, content design, publishing, community management and a monthly report. Original content creation and paid media sit in the tier above it, at $1,500 a month.
An editorial system, not a posting schedule.
01 · The difference
Most social media management is sold as volume. Twelve posts, eight stories, four reels. You buy a number, the number gets delivered, and nobody asks whether any of it changed anything about the business.
The number is easy to sell because it is easy to check. It is also the wrong thing to buy, because posting more of something that is not working produces more of nothing.
What I do instead is decide what the account is for, build an editorial approach that serves it, and then publish consistently against that approach. Volume comes out of the plan. It is not the plan.
The question is not how often you post. It is whether anyone who sees it does anything afterwards.
So the account gets connected to the rest of it. Where the link in the bio goes. What happens when someone sends a message. Whether the offer on the page matches the offer in the post. Whether any of it shows up in the numbers you already have.
That is the part most social work skips, and it is the part that decides whether the rest of it was worth paying for.
What's included.
02 · Scope
$700 a month · Social Media Management
- One platform
- Editorial planning
- Content design
- Publishing
- Community management
- Monthly reporting
Built around the content and assets you already have, with additional branded creative as needed.
A month begins with a plan and ends with a report. In between, the posting happens without you having to think about it, and questions and comments get answered rather than accumulating.
$1,500 a month · Growth Marketing Management
A more hands on marketing partnership. Original content production, paid media management, campaign strategy, tracking, reporting, and the systems underneath it all, built to connect your marketing and support growth.
The honest boundary between the two: $700 makes the account consistent and considered. $1,500 puts money and machinery behind it.
Most businesses should start at $700 and move up when there is something worth amplifying. Moving up early is how people end up paying for reach they have no reason to buy yet.
What isn't included at $700.
03 · Boundaries
- Paid advertising or ad budget management
- Original video shoots and video editing
- A second or third platform
- Website changes or landing pages
- Influencer sourcing and negotiation
None of these are unavailable. They sit in other tiers or get quoted separately, and I would rather write that down than let you find out in month two.
If what you actually need is one of them, say so on the call and I will tell you what it costs instead of selling you this.
When I'd tell you not to buy social media management.
04 · Honestly
When nothing happens after the click. If your link goes to a homepage with no clear next step, or messages sit unanswered for three days, social will send people into a room with no door. Fix the room first. That is cheaper and it makes everything else work better.
When you need customers this month. Organic social compounds. It is a poor emergency channel. If the calendar is empty in November, paid media or search will move faster, and I will say so.
When nobody internally can be filmed or photographed. Service businesses win on social because a person is visible. If nobody is willing to be in front of a camera and there is no product to photograph, the account will be generic no matter who runs it.
When you already have someone doing it well. Sometimes the account is fine and the problem is somewhere else entirely. I would rather find that on a free call than three months into an invoice.
How this differs from an agency.
05 · The comparison
You are hiring one person, and that person does the work. There is no account manager relaying instructions to a junior you never meet, and no monthly call where three people attend and one of them talks.
The trade is real and worth saying out loud: an agency has more hands, and can absorb volume I cannot. If you need six platforms and a production crew, an agency is the right answer and I will tell you that.
What you get instead is that the person planning the content is the person who knows what the ads are doing, how the website converts, and where the leads actually go. Nothing gets lost in a handover, because there isn't one.
And the price is on this page. Most agencies will not quote until they have your budget, which tells you something about how the number gets decided.
Questions I get asked.
06 · FAQ
How much does social media management cost in Las Vegas?
Across the Las Vegas market it generally runs between $500 and $3,000 a month. The low end is usually scheduling and little else. The high end is production, paid media and a team.
Mine is $700 a month for one platform and $1,500 for the tier that adds original content creation, paid media and the tracking underneath. Those are the prices, not starting points, and they are on this page because you should not have to sit through a call to find out what something costs.
How many posts do I get for $700?
I don't sell a post count, and I'd be suspicious of anyone who does before seeing your account.
The right cadence depends on the platform, what you have to say, and what you have to say it with. A practice with a steady stream of real footage can sustain more than a consultancy whose best content is one considered post a week. We agree the cadence in the first week, in writing, and it holds for the quarter.
Which platform should I pick?
Usually the one where your customers already are, not the one that is currently fashionable. For most Las Vegas service businesses that is Instagram management, sometimes Facebook, LinkedIn for B2B, and TikTok where the audience is genuinely younger and the business has something worth filming.
If you genuinely need two platforms from day one, that is the $1,500 tier rather than two lots of $700.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Three months. Not to lock you in, but because one month of social media tells you nothing. The first month is mostly setting the approach and building a queue. Month three is the first honest read.
After that it is month to month.
How long before I see results?
Engagement usually moves within weeks. Enquiries take longer and depend heavily on what happens after the click.
What I will commit to is recording the baseline before anything changes, so at month three the question gets answered with numbers rather than a feeling.
Do I need to be in the content?
For a service business, it helps more than anything else. People hire people. An account that never shows a face is competing on aesthetics alone, which is a harder game.
It doesn't have to be you, and it doesn't have to be constant. But someone should be visible.
What if it isn't working?
Then I tell you, at the month three read-out, and we either change the approach or stop. I would rather lose the retainer than keep invoicing for something I can see isn't landing.
